Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. Fellowship – Graduate.
The American Indian Graduate Center, Inc. announces the Wal-Mart, Inc. Fellowship opportunity for the 2008-2009 academic year. Students seeking graduate or professional degrees in the fields of areas of logistics, operations management, marketing and information technology are encouraged to apply. The fellowship is funded by the Wal-Mart Stores, Inc. and administered by the American Indian Graduate Center.

Type of Aid: Preference will be given to a graduate student in the field of logistics, operations management, marketing and information technology.
Duration: One time award. Selections are made in-house.
Amount: $5,000 for one academic year ($2,500 fall and $2,500 spring)
Requirements:
- Must apply for the AIGC Fellowship program.
- Pursuing a master or doctoral degree as a full-time student at an accredited graduate school in the United States.
- Be and enrolled member of a U.S. federally recognized American Indian tribe or Alaska Native group, or possess one-fourth degree Indian blood.
- Able to demonstrate financial need.
Selection:
- The American Indian Graduate Center’s (AIGC) deadline for the 2008-09 academic year is June 2, 2008.
- Wal-Mart Fellowship candidates will be drawn from the AIGC applicant pool of completed files. Applicants will be selected based on the Wal-Mart scholarship requirements.
